1960 Corvette

I built this 1960 Corvette based on AMT's #6588 kit. It was built in 1994 for a co-worker's father
who owned a real one in the late 60's. It was presented to him as a gift. Since there were no pictures of the original
car it was built from memories related by the proud owner. The engine in the model is a resin copy of
AMT's '63 convertible kit with dual carb intake found in the parts box. The exterior paint is Testor's Gloss Red and
Gloss White for the coves. This is the only picture I have of it, in the
display case ready to be presented.
