Williams Renault FW19
Jacques Villeneuve 1997  Formula 1 championship car

Before you say this is not a Corvette:  I KNOW!

Jacques Villeneuve (son of Gilles Villeneuve, the Ferrari Grand Prix driver that was tragically killed in an accident in 1982) is one of the most successful Canadian race car drivers in history.  He won the Indy 500 in 1995, the Indy Car Championship the same year and then moved to Formula 1 where he won the 1997 World's Driver's Championship driving a Williams Renault FW19.
This model represents his 1997 championship car.  In France, as well as in some other countries,  tobacco  sponsors are not allowed to advertise on race cars.  So for the French Grand Prix in June 26,1997 the car appeared with this scheme, replacing the Rothmans logos with  question marks.

Built pretty much box stock except for the exhaust tips and added some carbon fiber and Kevlar decals.

Issues: Decals were immune to decal solvents and setting solutions. Did not conform nor cooperated.  Additional decals were ordered to eventually replace some damaged ones.
